ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND
This conference was created with HBCU student athletes in mind. Making HBCU athletes our priority, we wanted to create a space for them to learn, grow, and feel comfortable being themselves.
This isn't your typical conference. We have curated our sessions and the conference experience based on what an HBCU student athlete finds important and is interested in.
This is an event and experience you don't want to miss!

TESTIMONIALS
I feel like events like this will help upcoming athletes because it will prepare them mentally and show them there is a safe space to learn even if they are confused and don't know where to start. There are resources and people that have the answers to those questions that we think we have to figure out on our own. Being able to hear the speakers' conversations with one another and learning from their experiences was inspiring.

This event is important because, of my background and coming from where I've come and things I've been through, I learned alot of things that I didn't know especially being a college athlete and getting into NIL. This event brought alot of information to my attention that I can use in the future and possibly pass down to the younger generation. This was a missed opportunity for athletes that didn't attend!

Coming to a conference like this is wonderful especially with college and high school athletes who are allowed to participate in NIL, it's like practice makes perfect. You are allowed to talk to, educate, and reach the students at an earlier age, so now they understand what it looks like to be a professional student-athlete. This was a safe space for students to ask questions and get real-life examples that they can use that's tangible.

Alot of people look at HBCU athletes as not being as big as the Power Five athletes and this was a great opportunity to learn from other HBCU athletes and show that you can make it from anywhere you go, especially an HBCU.

There aren't alot of conversations like this happening where it's a whole conference that athletes can come to and learn from subject-matter experts, who can help the athletes launch their brands and get help with NIL. Before athletes didn't have a place like this, so an event like this is 100% important
