At Rise HBCU, we connect brands, HBCU fans, and alumni with their favorite HBCU athletes, and HBCU athletes with their greatest supporters. Rise HBCU athletes unlock the ability to earn compensation by using their name, image, and likeness on and off the yard, which include participating brand deals, doing media interviews, posting content on social media, selling merchandise, and more.

FAQs
Are all NIL deals the same? How are the deals divided amongst the athletes?
No. Each deal varies based on the specific athlete and the requirements of the athlete under the contract. For example, an athlete who appears in person at a fan engagement event would earn more compensation than an athlete who posts on social media. Each deal is individually negotiated and agreed upon by the athletes and Rise HBCU.
What if an athlete transfers to another school?
The agreements are limited in time and scope to provide protection for member funds in the situation where an athlete may transfer or no longer participate in the athletic program. We specifically structure the agreements to minimize these risks.
