FAQs
What percentage of the contributions goes to the athletes?
We aim to keep our overhead costs to operate the membership very low so the athletes can get the most lucrative NIL deals. Right now, ninety percent (90%) of contributions (membership and one-time) go to the athletes. Rise HBCU has an hourly employee, independent contractors, and interns to assist with administrative tasks and other duties that help to keep Rise HBCU running properly. We have expenses related to IT, marketing materials, content creation, and fan engagement experiences.
Can I make a one-time contribution?
Yes, we encourage any contribution that will help our NCCU student athletes. Contributions can be made individually or from businesses.
Does each membership tier have different benefits?
Right now, each membership tier has the same benefits.
